This page explains who fills your prescription and what compounding means.
Approved orders are compounded and shipped by Curexa East, a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy (PCAB-accredited, 503A). The Gastronomy Project is not the pharmacy and does not compound or dispense medication.
A compounded medication is prepared by a licensed pharmacy to fill an individual prescription written by a U.S.-licensed doctor. Compounding allows a medication to be tailored to a prescription, such as combining ingredients into a single capsule or tablet.
Compounded medications are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. A prescription is issued only if a U.S.-licensed doctor determines a product is appropriate for you, and completing intake does not guarantee one. Talk to your doctor about the benefits and risks.
Prescribing decisions are made by U.S.-licensed doctors through MD Integrations, an independent telehealth physician network operating in all 50 states. The Gastronomy Project does not make prescribing decisions.
