The basics

Getting started

What is The Gastronomy Project?

The Gastronomy Project is a doctor-designed telehealth brand for gut health. We create GI formulas that pair a prescription medicine with ginger root extract, and independent U.S.-licensed doctors review your intake and prescribe only if a product is right for you. Approved orders are compounded by a licensed U.S. pharmacy and shipped to your door.

Is this a real prescription?

Yes. Each product is a compounded prescription, reviewed and prescribed by a U.S.-licensed doctor only if it is right for you. Compounded medications are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality.

How do I get started?

Choose a product and plan, then complete a short medical intake. A U.S.-licensed doctor reviews it, usually within 24 hours. If it is right for you, your order is compounded and shipped for free.

Do I have to see a doctor in person?

No. Everything runs through our secure telehealth platform. A U.S.-licensed doctor reviews your intake online, so there is no clinic visit and no waiting room.

Which states do you ship to?

We ship to all 50 states. Your eligibility is confirmed during the medical intake before anything is prescribed.

Pricing and the $29 review

What you pay, and when

How much does it cost?

You pay a one-time $29 doctor review per order, and then only for the product if it is prescribed. Product pricing starts at $29.50 per month. You can see every plan on our pricing page.

What does the $29 review fee cover?

It covers a U.S.-licensed doctor's review of your entire order and is good for a full year of refills. It is the only charge today.

Is the $29 review a recurring charge?

No. It is a one-time fee per order. Medication is billed separately, and only if a doctor prescribes it.

What happens if I am not approved?

If a doctor decides a product is not right for you, you are not charged for medication and your $29 review fee is refunded.

Who are the doctors?

Your intake is reviewed and prescribed by U.S.-licensed doctors through MD Integrations, an independent telehealth physician network operating in all 50 states. It is LegitScript-approved and HIPAA, SOC 2 Type II, and ISO 27001 certified. They make every prescribing decision.

Do strength options change the price?

No. Where a product offers more than one strength, such as omeprazole 15mg or 25mg, the price is the same.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not bill insurance. Pricing is flat and transparent: a one-time $29 review, then the product.

Your $29 review is good for a full year of refills on that order. Subscription plans ship automatically on your chosen cadence, and you can change or pause them anytime.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Subscriptions can be paused or cancelled at any time, with no fees and no commitment.

Where is my order made and shipped from?

Your order is compounded and shipped by Curexa East, a PCAB-accredited, licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
