About our founder
Dr. Ryan Natale, MD, MHA, created The Gastronomy Project after years of caring for patients and personally navigating the challenges of digestive concerns. As a board-certified emergency physician with more than a decade of clinical experience, he saw firsthand how many people struggled to find an approach that felt both evidence-based and practical for everyday life.
Motivated by his own struggles with reflux and gut health, Dr. Natale set out to build a more personalized option: provider-guided compounded care that may combine FDA-approved prescription ingredients with supportive ingredients in a customized formula, when clinically appropriate. His goal is simple—make gut support easier to access, more straightforward, and tailored to each person.
